Wayne and Valerie Hagopian
My wife Valerie, and I live in Arley, Alabama. Our daughter Lauren Adams works at H&R Service as the Administrative Assistant. Lauren and her husbad David live in SW Florida. Our daughter, Ashley, lives in Wasilla, AK with her husband Milo Elver, their son Ralph Jaxon, and daughters Katelyn Ashley, and Ryleigh Brook. Milo is an expert in all things "computer" and is also a talented musician playing drums, bass, and guitar. Ashley is a stay at home mom and an excellent photographer and musician.
As Christians, Valerie and I believe that integrity is essential in our relationship with customers and with our staff of driver/installers who keep H&R Service going in the right direction. We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and that serving Him is the only way to find true fulfillment in life.
Having graduated from Central Bible College in 1977 I began serving as the Music and Youth Pastor in my home church. The church was small and as a result had little funds available for staff. H&R Service began that first year and has been our primary source of income since moving our first postage machine.
Working with my hands has always been very satisfying to me so when I saw a 1960 Corvette project car on Ebay a few years ago I could not resist making that final bid. When the Corvette was delivered I felt like a kid as I drove it off the car hauler into my garage. I am in the process of doing a complete restoration. My grandfathers old Ford 8N Tractor and a 1945 Chevy 2 Ton Pickup are a couple of my other recent projects.
A few years ago Valerie and I became involved in our "Alabama Project" and we now spend much of the year in Arley, Alabmaba working on our parcel of land on Lewis Smith Lake.
